For the third morning in a row, we've woken to very wet snow in a very thin layer on the skylight and bushes. After an incredibly windy day yesterday, it seems like Winter decided to skip Oregon in January and February and just concentrate on March for us.
I'm making a pair of socks for Tim in Jo Sharp Silkroad Tweed DK. While I love this yarn--love the tweediness, the thickness, how fast they are to knit--they don't hold up that well to wearing, so this will be my last pair. They tend to felt even if treated with kid gloves, and to get little tiny holes in them.
But still. I like them.
