Tipped Sweater

Today I attached the sleeves to the body, and ended up with what looks like a clown top. I think this is because the circ is short and doesn't accommodate the work well. However, I decrease eight stitches every other round so it should be in manageable (and photographable) shape sometime in the near future.

Yesterday we dashed over to the coast and took a walk on the beach with the dogs. There was a lot of interesting driftwood beached on the sand from recent storms. Then we went to one of our favorite restaurants in Old Town Bay Street Grille and then wandered in and out of the shops. We bought a serigraph at one of the nicer shops (I'll take a picture soon). As we left, the sky was clouding up so we hit it at the good time. No traffic either way. A great day.

Knitting looks lovely and even, and actually, you are right about the circ, just like a pi shawl that can't spread out, the sweater will be fine once it's off the short needle. That is a very pretty color of ..is it red orange? Very lovely.

Yes, it is a coral color but is a bit deeper than in the picture.
