Best Laid Plans
Nothing to show you, except balls of yarn for my Hiro. The plan for yesterday (Saturday) was to finish the collar of the tweed sweater, and I thought I would have plenty of time since Tim planned to work on a paper all day. Here's how the day went:
-longish walk through the woods in the morning
-showered and then ran out to Petsmart to buy two Pilot-related items
-Petsmart lacked one item, went to Cabela's (or as I call it now, Ca-Hell-a's).
-THen went to Petco and procured said item (Estimated Errand time: 1 hour. Actual: 2 hours)
-At about 2:30, settled down with book and sweater.
-3:30: Tim says "I'm going shopping for a new car" (we had discussed this and I hate car shopping so he was going alone).
-4:40: spend half an hour on phone with Tim giving him info for loan app (we had a pre-approved loan from our CU but got a better deal at Dealer's)
-5:00 went to sign paperwork
-6:30 drove home to drop off one car and then drove back to dealership.
-7:30 drove new car around the block.
-8:00 settled down to watch a movie and picked up knitting again.
-8:45: very startled by explosion and sounds of breaking class. Turned out the a bottle of mead had overcarbonated and burst in the pantry.
-9:45 pantry cleaned.
The end of the day.
So today, I'm rillyrillyrilly going to try to finish it. Fingers crossed.
