Bling Ring!

Here is a new pattern for something I like to call the Bling Ring. It is an infinity scarf that uses luxurious silk and beaded yarn to create a beautiful scarf that twinkles!

Materials:
MC: Art Yarns Silk Rhapsody: 1 skein color 250 (Snow)
CC: Art Yarns Beaded Silk Light: 1 skein H21 with Silver Beads
CC: Art Yarn Beaded Silk & Sequins Light: 1 skein 252 Blue Denim with Silver

Needle size 7, 48"
One stitch marker

Seed stitch in the round with an even number of stitches: on first round, K1P1 all the way around.
On the second round, P1K1 all the way around. Alternate these two rows.

Directions:

Holding the Silk Rhapsody and Beaded Silk Light together, make a slipknot with both yarns and put on knitting needle. Using the 'long tail' method, cast on 199 additional stitches using the Silk Rhapsody (MC)  as the yarn making the stitches on the needle.

Going back and forth in rows, knit five rows of garter stitch (knit every row) with MC.
On the first row, when you come to the two stitches that are the slipknot (with both yarns), knit both yarns together to make one stitch with MC.
After five rows, join for knitting in the round and knit 1 round.

**Hold both CCs together and join, knit 4 rounds.

Switch to MC, knit five rounds in seed stitch.**

Repeat between the **s two more times

With both CCs together, knit 4 rounds.

Knit 6 rounds in garter stitch (1 round knit, 1 round purl)

Bind off purl wise using just the CC Beaded Light.

It is nice and blingy on both sides, and looks good long or short!
