My second spinning class was as fun as the first. It felt very 'shop on blossom street-y' with all of my fellow spinsters eager to chat about our spinning activities while Mona (our goddess) tried to get us to focus. Anyway, I found out all the things that I'd been doing wrong (not charging the card enough, spinning too tightly) and was able to spin a much narrower yarn. That was pleasing to me (the spinning part). I still don't like the carding. Oh well. That is why the knitting goddess made roving, right?
We'll start on the wheel next week, and I am loaded and ready to spin, baby!
