A Festival of Handspun

Sort of a sad little festival, but a festival nevertheless.

I plied the rest of the single plies I had on the spindles today (top) and am excited for my next project...adventures in fiber blending! I ordered some different types of silk from Treenway fibers to blend with the rest of Brownie's fleece to do some experimenting. Stay tuned for even more poorly photographed dark yarn.

In the middle, some Navjo plied red and white fleece that I have a don of...the navajo plying makes this look a bit tweedish, with the red color dominant and (if you look close) bits of white.

And at the bottom, more navajo plied mystery fiber in shades of blue and tan.
