Time for a sleeve

The way Arwen is constructed is this: you knit part of the front side, then cast on for a sleeve connected to the front side, then knit the rest of the front side plus the sleeve including a cable band, then you finish the sleeve and knit the hood.

So basically, this is the only straightforward part of the whole knit:

Except for the back, which is just a huge stockinette rectangle.

Sounds a little confusing, but I'm sure it will make sense as you go along.

Socks were like that when I started. Now it seems so simple.
