The cowl with the granite stitch is halfway done:
I'm using a set of five gradients, and I am a bit more than halfway done through the third hunk. It reminds me of peanut butter and jelly, which is always one of my favorite colorways.

We have had a very rainy weekend. I finished "Barkskins" and started on the new Maria Semple book called "Today it will be different" (or something like that). It is pretty good, not as good as "Where Did You Go Bernadette" but still good. And kind of a nice change from Barkskins.

We did watch "Mascots" last night on Netflix and while it wasn't Christopher Guest's best work, it was still good. Plus, it has the return of Corky St Clair from "Waiting for Guffman" so that is worth the whole thing!
