Halloween Recap and an oopsy

Halloween was good. We actually had about a 45 minute period of lots of kids, in cute costumes, popping by. I would guess maybe 20 kids, maybe a few more? I really thought a lot of our neighborkids would go to the new 'downtown' afternoon event but the rain held off, it wasn't cold out, and so it was a fun little Halloween evening.

I made a little booboo:

I should have started this about ten rows down. But, good news, I think I have a way that I can still use it and not have to redo it, based on  a way I saw someone finish the whole thing (hint: washi tape). We'll see. I started on the next letter (and there's still a little to go in this one) but I'm not as stressed about it as I could be.

RABBIT RABBIT!

It's always best when you can incorporate your boo-boos into the work . . . without having to rip and re-start! I love the colors in your stitching. XO

Think of it as a design enhancement: this project will be unique.

Think about it tomorrow-sometimes you will work it out and other times you will know you need to rip it out. It happens.

I've been in this house for 30 years, and only had trick-or-treaters once. I stopped buying candy ages ago.
