I think it might be my Moment of Zen

One more
I finished another little stitch project:

I'm really enjoying these little projects, and this one knit up really really fast. Someone asked in the comments what I'm going to do with them-I'll frame them 'in the hoop' and then we'll hang up three somewhere in the new house and then 'rotate' them through the seasons.  I started on the third one last night--it is a bit more involved and I think that might be a good pattern--do a somewhat complex one, then an easier one, repeat until done.

Wrapping up
Students did their final presentations in class, and I got their work all graded yesterday. I think grading rosters open today so I can enter their grades. I have a meeting this afternoon and two on Wednesday and then we'll head over to the beach either Thursday or Friday for almost a week (well for me, I have to come back to go to Dallas, and Tim may or may not stay out at the coast).

Plans
A research professor's work is never done. I received a revise and resubmit review yesterday (which means--a few people read an article, gave me a bunch of ideas/changes/criticisms, and now I need to rewrite an article to make them happy). I have two stacks of articles to read for class and prepare. I am teaching two classes I've never taught before, so there's quite a bit of preparation--at least I have the readings done!

One final thought for today

I found this installation at the College of Design that sort of encapsules the end of the term. Doesn't it just look tired?

I picked up a teeny tiny stitching project. It was in little box at the Barnes and noble counter. IT is Pusheen the cat. I think I can do it. I may have to take a class at Joanns but that's ok too! I want to embroider things like pillow cases etc

Love your stitching and the idea of hanging them in the hoop. The community weaving project also looks fun!
