And back

Back from the coast, back to work, back to our academic year normal (except, Tim doesn't have to work on the dissertation all the time, yay!).

I finished this last night. It looks like a kaleidoscope image!  I had a little panic attack last night because I didn't know what to needle next but then I remembered I have a few on tap from the person who did the fox one.

Yesterday was cleaning, driving, unpacking, and forgetting where things were. It was so dark last night (we live in a valley in Eugene) and the noises were different (crickets!). But we'll be back in the groove over the weekend, I'm sure.

Happy Fall!

Hope you'll be grooving away soon ~ back in Eugene.
Happy Fall to you too ~ or 'Happy Autumn' as we Brits would say!

Summer went too fast. We are blessed with hot steamy weather this week. Fireman and I have paddle boarded twice. The water is 69 ! The sun was shining andtheboats are at no wake after all the rain, Yeah FOR PADDLe boarders who don't want to be knocked off!

It's going to take a bit of adjustment, I'm sure. The kaleidoscope is very interesting--nice work! (And I'm glad you remembered the next project so you are not without stitching!)

The groove may not be all it's cracked up to be. Stay in a Coast frame of mind as long as you can.

Oooh! I love the embroidery! My grandmother was an artist and made THE most beautiful kaleidoscopes. I suppose that may be why I have a thing for anything kaleidoscope related now.
Welcome back to the valley. I'm sure you'll find your groove quickly.

The back-and-forth is rough. I hope you've got your groove back (if not now, then soon)! Have a good week.
