I won't bury the lede!

No cria yet!

The full moon didn't work, and today there is rain in the forecast so I kind of doubt it will be today (there are actually showers in the forecast, so I'm not sure if they like showers or not!). Anyway--I will head back to Eugene on Monday morning if the cria doesn't come before then. The cacti need watering and I've got some long meetings that will be easier to do from Eugene (easier in terms of more comfortable furniture and less annoying for the others in the house). I also need to pick up a beach cruiser from someone who is moving home. Hopefully the cria would be born by then, but who knows?

Tiny needle time!

This sort of 'matches' the whale I did a while ago. I need to take some time and frame these.

Cards
Well just one. This is for my SIL Sue, who has a plaster goose in front of her front door.

Reading
I'm in the middle of two books. One if 'White Fragility' which  is a challenging and uncomfortable book to read but really, really important.

The second one is "The Chiffon Trenches", a memoir by Andre Leon Talley, who was an editor at large at Vogue and arguably the most influential Black man in fashion.  It's an interesting look at the fashion and publishing industry that I'm really enjoying.

I also finished "The Guest List" by Lucy Foley and it was a good mystery--given my 'lack of attention span' state, the short chapters written from different points of view were welcome.

How did you manage a copy of "White Fragility"? I've been looking everywhere for one.
