I've done one whole repeat of the pattern--it takes a while as the whole sweater is on the needles. Here is 'half' of the pattern. Starting from the right---you can see the first hunk is the cable pattern, then a section of 'texture', then there's some ribbing that indicates the 'side seam' and then there's half of the back in the same 'texture' pattern.
Here are close ups of the texture and the cable.
I did another set of little bugs--oops--beads!--using some Lawn Fawn Christmas paper odds and ends. I experimented with putting a tiny bit of glitter in the Mod Podge on the second coat. Lesson: a tiny bit of glitter isn't going to cut it. I may try a bit more glitter in the final coat.
We've had some gorgeous sunsets for a few days!
I finished "The Searcher" (it was good) and I'm now reading a Nancy Thayer chick lit escapism book.
How are you?
