More Bees Knees

I've done one whole repeat of the pattern--it takes a while as the whole sweater is on the needles. Here is 'half' of the pattern. Starting from the right---you can see the first hunk is the cable pattern, then a section of 'texture', then there's some ribbing that indicates the 'side seam' and then there's half of the back in the same 'texture' pattern.

Here are close ups of the texture and the cable.

I did another set of little bugs--oops--beads!--using some Lawn Fawn Christmas paper odds and ends.  I experimented with putting a tiny bit of glitter in the Mod Podge on the second coat. Lesson: a tiny bit of glitter isn't going to cut it. I may try a bit more glitter in the final coat.

We've had some gorgeous sunsets for a few days!

I finished "The Searcher" (it was good) and I'm now reading a Nancy Thayer chick lit escapism book.

How are you?

I'm well. Thanks for asking...I think my work is now beginning to slow down and the kids get home from their honeymoon tomorrow, so cat feeding duty will end. It's all good. Love the textures in your knitting - very, very pretty (and what a bright pop of color!!).

I'll bet that yellow will make you smile every time you pick up your knitting! (Who doesn't need a little sunshine these days???) And I think the sunsets are at their best in the fall. Stunning view, Kim!

At this moment, I am just tired. By the end of the work day on Thursday, I am exhausted, so Fridays are tough. I'm taking mini-breaks to get through the day.

I absolutely love that sweater! The cables, the texture, the color -- it's all amazing.

I'm doing well, thank you! The beads are really interesting-nice work! The new sweater is going to be a stunner!

This round of beads remind me of miniature rolls of colorful toilet paper. LOL But it's only because of the wires they are on. The beads themselves are beautiful. (I really hope you take that in the kind and comical context it was meant. It's 2020 and I've trained my brain to instantly recognize toilet paper even in the most unusual places. ha ha)
Your sweater will be beautiful too. So bright and sunny!
