Paper projects!

I haven't spent time doing cards or any paper projects, but I spent a lot of time yesterday.  I obtained some moon-themed paper and washi tape, and that inspired me to do a bunch of cards.

These were made from paper.

Here is a close up of my favorite!

These are made from washi tape on cardstock.

I also experimented with making paper beads. These are fun, and for my first 'go round' are not horribly bad. These are pretty basic: you cut out a long, skinny triangle, put glue on one side, and roll them up. Then you paint them with (ready for a walk down memory lane?) Mod Podge. Then they dry and you have beads!

They kind of look like interesting insects here. Here is a close up--this paper had some gold accents on it.

They're pretty solid this morning.

We watched "The Trial of the Chicago 7" and it was good---the things you don't remember from when you were ten years old though!

Have a sunny Sunday!

There is so much cute Washi tape out there, and I've never known what I could do with it. These are good ideas!

Your moon cards are awesome! I think your beads are too. It is fun to see different crafts we delve into. I tried shawl pin pounding at virtual Rhinebeck today. Hmmm with the right tools I think i can do it.

I love your paper crafts, Kim! The moon-cards look great, and the beads are awesome! I've always wanted to try the paper-bead thing. What are you going to do with the beads????
