Happy TNT! Today we have a little recap of all my crafting activities.
First, some tiny needle work! I'm really enjoying working on my snowy stack. I have the animals almost all partway in so you can see them all!
I received my Knitter's Hunk prize from my twinnie--and there's a pink and coral theme that includes some gorgeous yarn, tea that I'm dying to try, fox things, kitten things, and soak.
I also have another potholder done but not bound off yet. You can buy a lot of colors of loops on Etsy and so that's fun.
Here is my next round of beads! Vera, this is my first go-round with Mod Podge too. I'm not sure exactly what this magical elixir is (other than glue) but it works well and smells interesting. Not bad exactly. Just interesting.
Kym, paper beads are so easy. I think I'm going to string them on elastic for bracelets and maybe on cord for necklaces. Tim and I have a plan that we can have some little ocean crafts booth at various craft fairs up and down the coast, and if I can get the beads done well in some ocean colors those might be a fun thing.
I also learned you can do beads in white and just put a little bit of washi tape on the end, and that will give you a pop of color on beads.
Thanks for your positive comments on the cards. Twinnie, washi tape is fun. You can also use it to decorate envelops and packages for the mail. One very fun place to look at washi tape is Kawaii Pen Shop. But all kinds of places have all kinds of washi tape, and in case you want to know more, here is a list of 100 washi tape ideas. Spoiler: put washi tape on stuff.
