Knitvent Days 3 and 4

There has been a bit of knitting other than the gnome, but not a lot---I've been working on a cross stitch project and have not been too focused on the other things. But I'll have more to show you soon. Here are days 3 and 4:

Day 3 was yarn--I bought yarn for two so I could have a choice.

I chose the navy blue, and did the pattern yesterday. It's a stripey tube using both days of yarn. Not sure how this is all going to come together but that's the fun!

Day 4 was cute little stitch markers. And a recipe for sugarplums! I had no idea they were really a thing, except in The Nutcracker. They're basically dried fruit and nuts mashed up together and coated in sugar.  I may take a pass. Anyway, here are the stitch markers:

Back soon with 'real' knitting!

Oh those mushrooms are darling!!!! I am always knitting markers into the garment. I don't know why. I m destined for all my stitch markers to be the diaper pin kind.!

Stitch markers are like bags for knitters --- there's no such thing as too many.

The stitch markers are adorable! I think I'd skip the sugar plums and just eat sugared fruit and nuts separately. And not squashed. :)
