Hello 2021--and my word for the year.

It's GRACE! Did you guess?

I need to have more grace.  Grace has multiple meanings.

As a noun:

-simple elegance or refinement of movement (I need this, given I am such a klutz, and I need to be more simple and refined instead of constantly flailing)

-courteous goodwill (I am very judgey. I want to be less judgey. So grace is my tactic).

As a verb:

-do honor or credit to (someone or something) by one's presence. At first I didn't think this was a good match, but it also reminds me to be present.

It is good for me to write this post because I am grumpy because I was up too late and I HATE putting the Christmas stuff away but I did it this morning with refinement of movement. So yay me!

Happy New Year!

It is a wonderful word, I am very judgey myself. I am still contemplating a word, it will come to me. Happy New Year.

I will be following with interest this year to see if your word makes you less judgey. And if it does I will adopt it as my word for life! I'd love to be less judgey! And if it also makes you less clumsy I will be glad to have that too!

atta Girl! I don't think of you as judgmental. Hmmmmm. I don't have a word, but a plan: Don't explain.
Here's to more Alpaca fun here this year~

I'm dreading the same job and will do it Monday morning! Lol
Grace is an excellent word - it is also what God extends to us (unmerited favor) and therefore what we can bestow on others--even though they, too, might be undeserving! A great attitude to work on!
