She had several more years of reasonably healthy life after that - she lived to be 19. I think it is a pretty common thing in older cats.fillyjonkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13016436113169230368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835299.post-62442923149251741332020-07-03T20:54:42.355-07:002020-07-03T20:54:42.355-07:00Always brightens our day when we see Mana! He was pretty good about it though, and he was fine for about 5 or 6 years. He was already almost a senior when he was diagnosed, so he did well (until the cancer got him.) Good luck with your girl. My guy could never get enough to eat before he started on meds so it was nice to see him be able to relax about food.kayThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16814148805700778532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835299.post-46796776581180084282020-07-03T10:53:20.144-07:002020-07-03T10:53:20.144-07:00Hi Kim

FOr one cat we used a pill. For the other we used a small amount of topical in her ear fold. THat weird little spol they have from the tip of the top of the ear to nowhere and it ends . Rozzy really didnt mind the gel on her ear at all and we kept her levels in line without much trouble. Fiona got super cuddly and vocal as she developed thyroid disease. ITs hard to escape it in cats when they iive nice long lives. kathy bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17534431969086721507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7835299.post-1332456363841366282020-07-03T08:45:33.453-07:002020-07-03T08:45:33.453-07:00If I were you (which I am in a lot of ways, after ...If I were you (which I am in a lot of ways, after all), I'd take care of that Tondero apple situation soon. He's likely to start nasty rumors about you.

No experience with feline thyroids. Only feline diabetes. Fingers crossed for your girl.KSDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01833804154146003809noreply@blogger.com
